I would like to welcome you all to the Department of Palestinian Affairs new website, that came to be an embodiment of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein's "may God protect him "vision to keep up with scientific and technical developments in the information age in a way that enhances the values ​​of excellence and transparency in government performance and to provide better services for citizens.

The Department of Palestinian Affairs is an official Jordanian institution affiliated with His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, established after the legal and administrative disengagement with the West Bank in 1988. And it is an extension of many Jordanian institutions established since 1950 to provide care and services to Palestinian refugees and to administer refugees camp affairs.

The tasks and duties of the Department of Palestinian Affairs are summarized as follows:

• following up on any developments of the Palestinian issue at the Arabic, Islamic, and international levels
• supervising Palestinian refugees and managing camp affairs
•  supervising UNRWA activities and programs in Jordan
• strengthening our partnership with donor countries and international partners.

The Department of Palestinian Affairs embarks on its tasks and duties with a strategic vision aimed at providing the best services with outstanding efficiency to meet the needs of the Palestinian refugee community in camps. The message it aims to deliver is to achieve a decent living stander for Palestinian refugees in the camps, enhance their role in public affairs, and support the department's local and international partners.

Based on this vision, the department worked on developing and updating its website, adding a number of electronic services and facilitating access to them by the recipient of the service, hoping that these services would increase in the future.

 This site also provides the most important activities and achievements of the department, information about Jordanian support for the Palestinian refugee cause, and a group of relevant statistical data.
