Camps Services Committees Projects
The camp services committees work with in what is allocated to them annually by the Department of Palestinian Affairs, to implement several projects, carry out the necessary maintenance, and maintain the sustainability of the projects implemented within the framework of the social safety projects in the camps. This requires a minimum of one million JD annually.
The following are the most important projects carried out by the camp services committees annually:
- Construction and maintenance of asphalt roads, sidewalks, asphalt bumps and concrete pours in the camps
- Construction and maintenance of a rainwater drainage network
- Maintenance of lighting units for electricity poles
- Construction of investment projects and buildings
- Preparing burial ground for Islamic cemeteries and maintaining and constructing of cemeteries walls
- Establishment of public parks inside the camps
- Establishing and organizing of market stalls in the camps
