The camp is located 27 Km south of the Amman, it follows administratively the Capital Governorate

Population estimate: 10.345 people

Number of families: 2054 family

Number of housing units: 810 unit

Number of clinics: 1 managed by UNRWA, 1 charitable medical center

Number of schools: 2 schools (for boys and girls) managed by UNRWA (double shifts system), 1 governmental school

Number of Youth Clubs: 2

UNRWA is responsible for discharging the garbage from the camp to outside

There isn’t a field office for the Department of Palestinian Affairs in the camp but there is a Camp Services Committee headquarters
